Old Batch of Cookies

I recently ordered 3 packs of the delicious Breakfast cookies. My first order in a long time. To my disappointment I was send a whole package of Peanut Butter Cookies with a really short shelf life of just under a month. The other package was almost 4 month out with the expiration date. You can clearly tell the difference in taste, the older ones were much more dry already. I wanted to give these cookies to my daughter for university to last her for some time. I contacted customer service and was disappointed that they wouldn´t just send me a newer package. I had ordered some of the cookies on sale, but wouldn´t have done so, if I would have known about the short expiration date. This was kind of a disappointment to me, and I don´t know if I will order again anytime soon.

My "Go To"

I was recently introduced to an Erin Baker's Peanut Butter Breakfast Cookie at an espresso stand on Alki Beach in Seattle. I found it delicious, not overly sweet, filling, and nutrient-rich. I was also impressed by the fact that each purchase benefits their Help Feed 1 Million Kids Program. Erin Baker's breakfast cookies are now my staple during long, early morning walks along Alki Beach. The Oatmeal Raisin variety is another one of my favs.
